Take a Tour of My Resource Math Class AKA The Dungeon

Good Morning and Happy Friday Teachers!

I am finishing up my 5th week of school! Yah! It has been so crazy busy that I have been neglecting my blog but that will change now that I am done with my grad classes until the spring!!!! That deserves at least a million exclamation points. I do have to start working on my portfolio but I won't have a thousand assignments to do each week. I am actually taking a break from my current assignment to write this blog post.

So here it is! My dungeon! It is called the dungeon because my room is hidden downstairs and the majority of the students and teachers have no clue where it is at, which is not always a bad thing!

This is in the stairwell to the dungeon. Isn't this cool? Thanks PTO!!!
I'm sharing my classroom this year with one amazing teacher and friend! So excited the school hired her!

"My Throne" aka My desk that is never that neat except for on Friday's because I have last period prep!
Behind my desk! I have my calendar, pictures from my years in teaching, and my razorback canvas!

Student supplies desk and math standards posters.         More student supplies and manipulatives.

Sitting from my desk. (They are usually in pairs like the next picture but it was a testing day.)

My favorite part of my classroom is my information board. Under the learning goal is the common core standard and big idea we are working towards with our learning goal. I have posters made with each standard. I have these laminated and will hole punch in the future so they can hang on the hooks.

 Every teacher's favorite question.

My homework caddy is a life saver! I can tell immediately who does not finish their homework. Behind the computer I have listed websites that the students are allowed to be on when given free time.

Yes! I actually accomplished blogging today! It has been a great start to the school year but sadly my Razorbacks are  not doing so well! Hoping for a win tomorrow!

Go Razorbacks!

Have a Great Relaxing Weekend,
